The Apex Foundation works with grantee organizations prior to and as an integral part of the grant funding process.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit a proposal initially that sets forth the need, nature, and amount of their request, along with evidence of suitable classification by the IRS (for US-based organizations) and success stories of how the organization has helped people achieve self-sufficiency.

The funding schedule is based on the calendar year with allocations occurring in January, however, prospective applicants are periodically evaluated throughout the year.
